Is it just me?

How come when I had a baby the amount of laundry I now have to do has QUADRUPLED? I mean… I had one baby, one tiny baby, one small little nugget and I’m swimming in laundry lol. Literally went from 2 people to 3 - that’s it. I wasn’t prepared for this 😮‍💨😂🥲

I used to wash my stuff and my sons together in one load, once a week.
Now it’s just so much to sort to have my son and baby and my stuff all together! Getting used to it but I have a clear memory of that first load of laundry where I was like “oh…laundry for TWO boys now…gonna be a loooong time with loooots of laundry!” 😁
Here’s what I learned from first babe:
My secret to once a week laundry is in the pajamas, underwear, and burp cloths. Always have enough to get your through the week. 
Walmart has these great cheap reusable diapers that make awesome burp cloths and then cleaning rags later on.
For babies, pjs can totally be used twice before washing if no spit up or blow out, around 12 month, splurge and get enough pjs to make it through the week with 1-2 wears.
AND always do laundry as part of baby’s playtime or activity time! Wave them in the air, talk to him about what article of clothing they are, who they belong to, what color etc. Baby will learn tons and you can rest when he naps! 👍👍
And as for my 4 year old, I still do laundry during his playtime. He runs to his bed and I dump the bin of warm clothes over him and he rolls around in it a bit, then helps me sort it and put it away. 😆

Omg I tell my husband this every day. I’m always doing laundry! I have a six year old and then threw one more kid in, it’s like im doing the whole neighborhoods laundry! 😨

It was taking me forever to sort and out away laundry into 4 different closets for my 5 person family so I decided to turn our large storage closet into a family closet and it’s been the greatest thing I’ve ever done for myself. 😅
I cloth diaper my 3 as well. Laundry never ends. 🥲

Yeaaaaaaaa I have 3 bio babies plus a step daughter here half the week…and we cloth diaper. 😂 I seriously feel like laundry is never ending. So. Much. Laundry.

LOL! Exactly!! I remember the days when it was just me folding my husband and my laundry. And after two kids I’m like woah! This is ridiculousness haha but as cheese ball as it sounds I’m thankful for the laundry piles and everyone healthy in my family.
