Reusable Pads vs Period Panties

Amanda

So I kind of am just posting this for anyone who is looking for more earth friendly options I recently started using reusable pads while I was already using period panties I noticed that the pads don't let my period smell out ad much ad the panties (smell is due to some meds im on) I do use The Organic Project (TOP) tampons on my heavier days. I've just been trying to be more eco friendly and once you've invested in both Period Panties and Reusable Pads it really is a game changer I plan on making my own pads her in the future.

For now I just have some that I've ordered off Amazon in black. But I do recommend them in these times because recently I lost my job and 8f I didn't order the pads before I lost it (I was lucky) idk how I would have been able to afford regular period products. Not only is it less waste its a full investment 60$ investment to be exact because I ordered 2 different sizes.

This last year I've been big into reading and learning as much as I can about my own period mainly for health reasons and also because my younger cousin who is 12 just got her period about 6ish months ago confides in me more than her mother. If its anything I'm concerned about and think her mom should know I'll go to my aunt otherwise what's said between us stays.

Honestly though if you're thinking about making the switch do it. It really is an investment and it is so much more comfortable than regular pads.
