3 month old rolling both ways and now side sleeping. Is it safe?

My 14 week old is now out of the swaddle because she can roll front to back and back to front. She’s sleeping in a weighted sleep suit. Is it safe if she rolls to her side to sleep?

I said yes before I saw the weighted sleep suit part. That part definitely makes it unsafe. Weighted sleep sacks are not recommended once baby is rolling as they can inhibit their ability to shift quickly out of a position that impacts their breathing. This is doubly so if you are not room sharing.

The dreamland baby weighted sleep sack has sizes and is used for babies up to 36 months. I couldn’t imagine they would sell a product that was unsafe for you to use for sleep. My guy can now roll and I have started zipping the sleep sack up on him backwards because he prefers his stomach…. We’ve had no issues. I know when they begin to roll, you no longer swaddle.

With just a regular sleep sac with free arms baby should be just fine! If they can do it themselves they should be safe

I voted yes but I am confused with the actual question- are you asking is it safe if she is rolling and sleeping on her stomach and side? Or are you asking if it is safe to do those things while wearing a weighted sleep suit? It is safe for them to sleep on stomach and side if they are getting into that position on their own, but it is probably best to use a standard wearable blanket or just pajamas without anything else at this point.
