So I had my son in March, and he's 2 weeks away from turning 7 months. He's breastfed but since I starting giving him soft foods he only breastfeeds before naps/bedtime, and 2 or 3 times during the night.

I know that regular breastfeeding can be 1 reason for no period but I feels like it's not that often. Normally I feed him about 3 times a day, occasionally 4 or 5 times a day (when he's not feeling well, or cause of teething) but for the most part just 3 times a day and 2 or 3 times a night.

6 weeks after his birth I was on the mini pill, but only for 2 months. And I think the mini pill may have had something to do with me not getting my period either. (I stopped the pill for other reasons as well)

Not having my period is kinda nice, but I'm the kinda girl that needs a period to assure myself I'm not pregnant. I've taken 3 pregnancy test in the last few months and they've so far all come back negative.

So how long will it take for my period to come back? And why hasn't it already?
