Annoyed at my manager

I just had gallbladder surgery last Friday, I’ve been off work for a little over a week to recover. I am supposed to go back to work tomorrow. I had Steri-Strips covering my incisions, today they fell off and I noticed some infection/yellow drainage from the sites, I immediately called my doctor and he said to use alcohol and see if they got better if not to call the office tomorrow morning; I texted my manager to see if me and another employee can switch shifts but the other employee requested off, so my manager texted me and said “rub some dirt in it and come on 🤣” and quickly texted back “just kidding” so I told her I’d be there, if it didn’t get better I’d wait until my next day off and now she’s saying “let me see what I can work out and text you in a bit” I feel like she’s mad, I thought my excuse what valid as to why I “called in”
