Stupid question, but an important one

Dumb question, don't judge please, just trying to reassure myself.

To get pregnant, sperm has to fertilize an egg in the fallopian tubes, correct? This would mean the sperm would have to travel up the vagina, through the cervical opening, into the uterus, into a tube, find an egg and successfully penetrate it, right? And the woman would have to be in that perfect ovulation window for it to happen, and then have a smooth and complete implantation in the uterine lining?

I ask because there was an incident involving an ejaculation nowhere near the vagina. To my knowledge it was all properly cleaned up, but my period has been insanely weird and I've been having weird symptoms (after a week of spotting and then nothing, I had heavy red bleeding for a day, bloody egg white discharge, small clot, all disappeared within the day. I had a large amount of raw egg white discharge, mostly clear but some light pink and light yellow too). Since there was no sex at all, and no ejaculation in the vagina (on the breasts), there should be 0 chance of pregnancy, right?

Thoughts?

I should mention I was seriously ill with COVID-19 a week or so ago.

Thanks!
