App says im 4 weeks but symptoms seem more like 5?

So I just found out im pregnant, and i have been throwing up frequently which is what prompted me to take a test. I had what i have to guess was implantation bleeding (just like a tiny brownish color when I wiped) before the test. I also heard you cant get a positive result on a home test at 4 weeks. So is this normal for a 4 week or do you think i might actually be a bit further along?

Also you can absolutely get a positive test at 4 weeks or even a couple days before that

Symptoms don’t determine how far along you are. 
But you absolutely can get a positive at 4 weeks. It’s pretty accurate at that point. I even got positives at 3 weeks with my 2 most recent pregnancies

Don't go off symptoms. Everybody is different. Just go by your lmp until you have your first ob appointment.

They measure how far along you are from the first day of your last period. And you can absolutely get a positive about two weeks after ovulation, which would place you around 4 weeks or sooner. 
And symptoms are not an indicator of how far along you are. Some women have zero symptoms, some start them weeks later, and some have symptoms that come and go.
