For those experienced with heart palpitations:

🌿A

27yo female here (no prior history of heart issues) I began having heart palpitations yesterday at about 4pm (it’s now 3:40am the next morning) i went to the hospital at 10pm because it was not easing up, constantly palpitating this whole time. Dr did EKG, X-ray, and blood work and said everything looked ok other than slightly high thyroid (not too bad), but gave me an iv anyways, then sent me on my way. Still palpitating badly when I left, and am now as I’m just laying in bed. Dr said to call our cardiology clinic today once they open, but after reading that palpitations could cause cardiac arrest, heart attacks, or fatal heart conditions, I’m terrified to go to sleep. Is it normal for it to constantly do this palpitating for almost 12 hours straight now?!
