Scared..

So I am terrified! It's my first OBGYN appointment today. And my mom said I have to do a pap smear. What is that exactly like? I was raped three years ago, so this is very scary. I had a Q-tip go up my vagina when I reported it to check everything was okay. It was horrible and I could barely handle it. We are going to tell the doctor about the past trauma, but it's not like it's not going to trigger me. Yes, my mom is going just to let y'all know. Any advice?
