I'm glad I'm. Not the only one who hasn't started yet. My daughter likes taking off her diaper and she goes to corners when she's pooping. But I want to go e her time. I feel like I forced my older children to train bc everyone would say oh by 18mths they should start. I had my. Oldest children in my 20s but now in my 40s I'm being more patient and understanding with this child -even if her poops smell like ☠️ 😂

I’ve read baby boys aren’t really ready until 2.5 to 3 years old and they will let you know when they are.  If you push too early, it can create negative associations with bathroom time.  So I’m just showing him the potty, but that’s about it right now.

We tried with my son a couple months ago. He did 3 days naked really well. The two days we tried pants he was completely oblivious to when he was peeing so we stopped and we will try again in February. I would try again around December but he's getting his tonsils out in January and I don't want that to set him back

We haven’t started training really. But we occasionally let my daughter use her potty so she isn’t afraid of it by the time we really start getting down to business. So more for fun currently instead of full on training. But she does pee she when she sits on it so she understands it’s use.

I say already trained as she's been in undies since March, but only during the day. She's about halfway there for overnights and naps but I think she'll be good there before the end of the year.
