Surgery!
So if you are in medical or anything or know much about this I could totally use input on what just happened!!!! So Tuesday a few days ago I had a septoplasty/rhinoplasty done which can help with the breathing of my nose and the appearance. Well to start from the beginning I was in surgery for 8 HOURS. Fully under anesthesia for that long. Which is crazy it took that long. Second as soon as I got home I ran a fever of 102-103 for DAYS now and is resistant to all meds hasn’t ever budged. Well then I took a nap I think the day after my surgery and woke up with a pulse of 180 so fast I could hear my heart in my ears. I was sweating profoundly and freaking out. I went to the ER they did a EKG on me which came back ok. I did have elevated white blood cells but I just had a surgery so they weren’t concerned. They said I didn’t have a infection. Sent me home. They sent me home with a pulse of 130 and high fever still. Went home covered myself in towels to break the fever some at night when it peaks the most and woke up in the morning with severe tight chest pains I couldn’t breath couldn’t take in air barely at all. I developed a cough which got worse and worse through the day. I went ahead talked to a different doc said I needed a chest x ray I came back with pneumonia! I’ve never had that in my life!!! So now I’ve been sick with that and can’t breathe out of my nose from surgery. I’ve never really been aware of these risks. But I’ve having very hard times getting up to even do the simplest stuff like go to the bathroom or shower without just losing all the air I can bare and needing to sit I start to have heavy breathing quick cause I can’t breath good enough to walk and move. How did I get this right after a surgery and any at home tips to help other than the medicines they gave me ?
