Take him to the ER it looks swollen my daughter use to get this its like a allergic reaction. Hope hee feels better love! 🥺💙 don’t let it pass any longer as it can be very harmful.

It could be the detergent you use he could have sensitive skin and could be breaking out

Maybe eczema? Take him to the doctors

Most likely allergies to something… think of any new foods or environment exposures, detergents soaps  chemicals in general… but unless his breathing is different or he is having  other signs of distress, I would wait and see his Pediatrician if it doesn’t clear up. If you have hydrocortisone 1% try a little and keep the skin cool and dry 
I make an essential oil lavender lemongrass and peppermint blend diluted in coconut oil for my son’s skin issues whenever they come up… im nursing and whenever I eat chocolate or avocado he gets patches like those on his legs. He never seems bothered so I give him more  water and oranges to help with the histamine when that happens also.
