So I am currently 40w 1D. I do not have any underlying Heath issues or concerns. My baby hits 8/8 healthy checkpoints. I’m only 70% effaced. My ob mentioned inducing me. He said he can do it this Friday because he’s on call or next week Thursday or Friday. I would like to have the baby because I am miserable and my pelvis and hips hurt extremely bad. Is getting induced a good idea? Should I let natural labor happen? I would go straight for a c section but he said it’s best to try induction. If it didn’t work I would have an emergency c section. Advice please? I’m a first time mom so I have no idea about any of this. Thank you!
