Melaleuca mom friend?

I've been talking to a woman I met in a local mom group. She seems really cool. The only issue is: she's part of Melaleuca. And like she mentioned it once in passing, which is cool...but she mentions it in every conversation we have. She's always inviting me to hear her CEO talk and such. It reminds me a lot of an MLM, which I've done before.

I'm not against these kinds of businesses, but like I don't want it to consume a friendship. I feel like it's gendering us getting to know each other. She's very very focused on it. I'm a SAHM who doesn't look for ways to make money. I just want mom friends and friends for my kiddos.

I'm even open to hearing about Melaleuca and trying the products, but I don't love their business model. I was on board until I heard about the 35 point requirement. We really like to shop in bulk, so I don't want to be committed to buying "x amount" every month. I explained it might just not be for our family at this time. I thought that would end it, but she kept trying to sell me. She said, "Yeah, buying in bulk is great, but the products you're buying are toxic." And I just thought that was a little abrasive. 😬

I feel like I should just cut ties. I think she's a cool person, but she doesn't allow herself to stop being a salesperson very often.
