UTI=dirty??

Am I dirty because I have a uti?? I ended up in the hospital with a really bad fever and didn’t even realise i had a uti.. Well me and my bf got into a fight& he threw it in my face that im dirty.. I try so hard to be clean down there too, i use wipes after & i keep our toys clean.. I just feel so awful about myself now.

I got a uti from wearing a wet bathing suit too long. It has nothing to do with being dirty or clean and he’s rude and uneducated.

Wow. He needs to take a high school health class.
UTIs are very common and very treatable. It doesn’t mean you’re dirty. In fact, it can be caused by him if he has dirty hands when he touches you. 
Don’t let people shame you for totally normal medical issues. Actually, don’t let your partner shame you period.

No, i got repetitive UTIs from having an ovarian cyst pressing on my bladder and it only stopped when i got it removed
