My husband is an avid hunter always has and always will be. I’ve made it clear it doesn’t bother me I’m proud of him and it’s an awesome and healthy hobby. With that previous statement being mentioned there’s a balance between family and hobbies. We have two beautiful children together and he’s been out for the last week wakes up at 4 am and doesn’t come home till about 7-8pm eats and goes to sleep. Any free time he gets he goes. I’ve brought it up that I would like some help because I’ve been extremely exhausted and I would like to have some alone time to unwind. He wasn’t very happy and ended up going anyways. Hunting is feeling like it’s coming first before house chores, and easing our children. I don’t know how else to explain to him that I don’t care if he goes hunting as long as there is a balance between adult responsibilities and hobbies. I’m not trying to sound bitchy I just am exhausted and want some me time even for 30 minutes.
