Advice please?

I’m currently 38 weeks. Had a sweep yesterday morning doctor said I was 1cm, 50% effaced and cervix was soft. I came home had a bath and a long walk started getting irregular but frequent contractions late in the evening and was up all night with them 😭 they fizzled out at around 10am this morning and had nothing much since until tonight around midnight I had what I believe is my bloody show and mucus plug.. just wondering if anyone else had anything like this and went in to labour soon after?

I don’t want medically induced and if this doesn’t work I’ll have to be medically induced next Friday
