Sunny side eggs?

Can I eat sunny side eggs while pregnant? I’m 8 weeks 3 days and I’m going to a brunch with hubby for our anniversary and I want some so badly but I’m not so sure.

I’ve heard some pregnant mamas say it’s fine. I’ve been very cautious, so personally I’m not taking the risk.

There’s a slightly higher risk for foodborne illness compared to a fully cooked egg so many advise against it. 
However most salmonella outbreaks in the US are from romaine lettuce.  Currently there’s a salmonella outbreak due to onions. The risk from eggs is likely low and you’ll probably be okay but it’s definitely up to you to weigh the risk

I’d at least do over easy. The video I had to watch did yolks should be firm and not runny, but then what is even the point of a fried egg, right?

I have mine yolky whenever I have spam or a potato hash or something of the sort. I personally do not stress. Otherwise, I often have my eggs scrambled in some form because that's how I prefer them.
