Do you feel it when your done having kids??

I had my third boy who is 3 months and while pregnant I was like this is it, I’m tying my tubes. Now I’m like can’t find it in my heart to schedule an apt to tie my tubes… like it’s like I want one more…. Will I feel this way for every kid or will I know when I’m ready to be done having children?? Any advice is so very appreciated!

We have two kids and I know I am 100% done. My first pregnancy was a dream but delivery was terrible and ended in an emergency c-section. Second pregnancy was horrible but a scheduled c-section was a bit easier. I always only wanted two kids, so I know our family is complete. My husband jokes he wants another but the factory is closed. 😂

I told my husband I'm don't after 2 nd dramatic both baby was 11 pounds went natural baby didn't fit through doc had to cut me while I was pushing for 3 hours my placenta exploded doctor didn't take it out all the way 8 wks pp had to get D/C to clean everything remaining out ! 
But now we have 10 kids! You forget the pain once you have you precious baby on your hands no BC works for us we tried them all in IUD I got pregnant less then 4 months after placing it in and had a miscarriage at 8 wks along so we giving it up to the Lord from that point on , our last pregnancy was twins amd I though it was my last I was sad then I went
Thought another miscarriage at 8 wks again 5 months pp and now holding our precious little baby on my hands and wouldn't change my family for anything else I live for my kids and we see Gods Blessing every single day they love each other so much I wouldn't change that foe the world 😘♥️🥰😍

I do think some of us will never really feel "done". I just had my 3rd boy too and my husband and I agreed 3 was our magic number. I have a lot of sadness about being done and I think it's natural to mourn the end of a chapter. It doesn't mean I'm changing my mind; it just means I get to wonder "what if" and be sad that it's over. I often think "last time I'm doing [fill in the blank]" and sometimes that's a sad thought and other times it's happy!

I just know I don’t want four kids. I’d love to have another boy since I have one boy and two girls, but my body cannot handle another pregnancy and my mental health cannot handle another kid. 
So I’m having my tubes removed.

I only wanted 2.  We had our two boys and I wanted another and that chance for a girl.  When we had our 3rd baby and first girl, I still felt the need for another but by two months I now know I’m done and I’m happy with that choice. I miss being pregnant and would love to be again but i know I don’t want more kids.  Hubby is getting snipped in a couple weeks.

We have 2 boys and at the moment we both feel like we’re 99% done. I would love to try for a girl but I had c sections and the physical, mental, emotional, and financial stress right now makes me not want another. And I’d love to have my body back without a child in it or eating from it 😂  
When we said we we’re done it felt like a huge relief- I think if you don’t have that relieved feeling and your gut is telling you to have another you’re probably not done 🤷🏻‍♀️
Since there’s that 1% chance we’re not done, I’m getting an IUD.. if we really feel like we want another in 3 years we’ll try again, if not my husband is getting snipped 😅

If you still feel hesitant and are unsure what about talking to your dr about and IUD? Not sure if that is something you would be comfortable with but it is a form of birth control that can be removed if you wanted to have more kids in the future. Getting your tubes ties isn’t reversible so definitely consider all your options. You need to be comfortable with whatever decision you make. I’m opting for an IUD myself, I have a hard time remembering the pill and didn’t like other forms of birth control so this is something I decided and know that if I ever do decide I want more I still have that option. My friend tied her tubes after her third and regrets it not only because of the terrible periods she has now but also because she changed her mind and wanted another but now doesn’t have that option.
