Membrane sweep or not???

39w 2d tomorrow & offered a membrane sweep. Should i get it or not?? Did you? Pros & cons?

Sex
Breast massage 
Acupuncture 
Miles circuit

I got one and went into labor about 5 hours later. Had my daughter the next day.

I got one the day before my due date (first time getting one but 4th baby) and I’m still pregnant three days later. I was surprised that it didn’t hurt though so that’s a plus!

I got one, didn't go into labour right away but did lose my mucus plug, went into labour after a few days. It wasn't painful so didn't mind it at all

I didn’t get one although i wanted l, only because my DR said he didn’t recommend getting one for FTM & it’s not a 100% chance it’ll put you into labor & I didn’t wanna put myself through the unnecessary pain especially if it didn’t work.

I got one at 38w6d and it did not do much. I was crampy and bled a little.. it was also quite uncomfortable. BEFORE l&d I would have used the word painful to describe..
