Eczema suggestions?

Does anyone have any recommendations for eczema cream or other treatments that have helped your child? We have been to the doctors and dermatologist multiple times at this point and not seeing results with prescription creams.
My kiddo is just so itchy I feel horrible l

We've only had luck with a calendula cream. The kind we buy is from a local place that makes it locally. But I know other health stores have similar stuff.

We’ve had really bad eczema since he was a baby. We’ve used triamcinolone and desoximetasone prescriptions on and off when it’s bad but the only thing that’s helped over the counter has been CeraVe lotion. They sell it in a giant tub and we put it on him every single night after his bath even when he’s not having an outbreak. No other brand worked but the cerave has been great.

Our daughter had a mild case. Our derm recommended Cerave cream and to apply Vaseline all over once weekly before bed. Use dove unscented soap and all free and clear laundry detergent. They also prescribed hydrocortisone cream that I use on the areas when it flares up.

Have you tried adjusting your LOs diet?

We only have a mild case of it. But we use Chelsey Wang baby products (her diaper cream I use for his skin sometimes too) and then I use a thick body lotion that’s unscented on him after baths

Vanicream, get the cream not the lotion. Works great on my son

My son has had severe eczema since a tiny baby. We’ve tried many prescriptions from both a dermatologist and allergist and pretty much every product OTC. We had a few creams from the allergist that seemed to be working a few months ago but now we’re back to nothing working. Lotion/cream wise we use Vanicream products it’s pretty much the only thing that doesn’t make it worse. Unfortunately he’s allergic to oats and Shea butter which are 2 things that typically soothe others eczema so we have to be real careful about products we try. We have a follow up next week with the allergist so we’ll see what happens.
