When should I plan my baby shower ?

Hey moms so my due date is April’s 30th when should I plan my baby shower /gender reveal party ? This is my 🌈 rainbow baby remind u I had a misscarage in 2020 I’m a little scared every doctor visit cause I’m scared they might tell me my baby is dead I try not to think about it as much but I really hope god let me have this baby all the way thru and I just want to have this baby shower as well so what should I do ladies ?

I’m due April 30th too! I’m planning my baby shower for March 19th . Gives me a little time to get whatever else i need .

I recommend about 6 weeks prior to due date so you have plenty of time to nest and get items that you didn't receive but still want.

I had my first baby July 7 2020 and her baby shower was June 1. I was scared it wouldn’t be enough time but it was. We had it originally planned for first of May. 
I will also say I had loses too and understand the fear. I still have it after having a healthy pregnancy. It helps me to think I want to be excited for this baby as long as I know it’s healthy. I don’t want to end up losing her and regret not celebrating her while I have her.

I’m due April 28th and have all the same fears as you (this is my first pregnancy). Assuming and hoping all is well until then, I was thinking of doing my shower on March 5th. I had friends that did theirs at 30 weeks and 34 weeks and I think I want to do it around 32. Will give me enough time to buy any miscellaneous items in my registry and just get time to relax and mentally prep. I’m also diabetic so there’s a good chance I’ll deliver before 4/28. I’m due April 6 and am having multiple showers between work and family. I requested that they start in January. That would allow me time to get things together and organized how I wanted and figure out what I still needed/wanted. I also wanted to still be comfortable and won’t be as huge then soooo. I will also still be working and my schedule is an always changing one, especially with Covid. This is my first pregnancy and I’m a planner 🤷🏼‍♀️
There’s not a right or wrong time to do one. It’s whatever will work for you!

For baby #1 and #2, I did them both at 36 weeks. Which worked out amazingly for #2 cause she was born 4 days later. Haha

I'm due April 17th and plan on March 5th. Both of my daughters have come early. (3 weeks & 3 months) so if my pre-eclampsia starts to get worse I'll plan for February.
