I would like to know if one has given birth in August can hcg stay in the system and give a positive test. I checked today because I didn’t get my period and I see 2 lines but w says not pregnant. I don’t know…I am so scared but thankful as the first took years to conceive.

HCG leaves your system after about 6 weeks. Digital tests require a higher HCG level so it’s very possible to have a positive on a dye test and negative on digital.

I see faint lines , I would try to retest in a few days. If you are pregnant there isn’t enough hcg for the digitalis yet & the lines will get darker

I see a line on one of the frer. Wait a few days and test again and you will get a better answer.
