Hi! I’m 31 weeks and 4 days pregnant, and I have some cavities that I have to get filled in and also my 6 month check up at the dentist, but they are requesting a doctors approval. Is it safe to get anesthesia during pregnancy? Has anyone gotten anesthesia during their pregnancy?

I had a minor procedure where they were going to numb my hand and remove hardware from a prior surgery. They advised we cancel, so I did at only 5 weeks. Not sure but guessing it’s best if you can wait.
