We just switched our daughter to forward facing. She was starting to get car sick facing backwards and would sometimes puke. We are hoping forward facing helps. She is very big for her age (97th percentile for height and weight) and we don’t go too many places since we also have a 3 month old, so we felt comfortable switching her.

Ugh, he is rear facing but seems like he is getting too big. I think he would like forward facing better but we really don’t drive much so we are just staying rear facing for now. It is safer since babies heads are comparatively bigger to their bodies than adults so they are at higher risk of whiplash.

Yup, she's 3' 1.5" and 13kg, we may not make it all the way to age 4 rear facing but will keep her that way as long as physically possible! 
It is hugely safer for them to be rear facing ideally till at least the age of 4 x
