Little back story. I had a c section in 2019 and I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant. I’m hoping for a vbac and my midwife is 100% on board. There’s 1 dr in the office that refuses vbac and if he’s the attending physician my midwife said I have to have a csection. That’s a 1/7 chance. Just say I go into labor naturally and get to the hospital and that one dr is there can I refuse a c section ? Can they refuse care ? Obviously if it’s medically necessary I will have a c section but I don’t want to have one just because there is a certain dr who doesn’t believe in vbac.
