Fraternal twins run in my family. My grandmother had two sets of twins, I was a twin pregnancy but my mom miscarried one. My whole extended family has told me from the time I was young that I was going to have twins, I have been planning on it. This is our third baby (another singleton) and probably our last so I guess they were all wrong. I'm still dealing with some disappointment of not having the twins I was dreaming of and I am definitely a bit jealous of all the twin posts I'm seeing. Maybe I'll have twin grandbabies someday!

No, infertility ran in the family on my husband’s side.  This required medical intervention to have children.  That resulted in my husband being a twin due to fertility drugs, and with me getting pregnant with twins via IVF.
