Prefers "Dada"

Our LO has definitely gone through big mama phases but for the past 3 months at least he's been in a huge Dada phase. In my rational mind I know not to take it personally and that it's just a phase but it's been going on for so long that it's really wearing on me. Like when I go into wake him up in the morning or after his nap he says "no no no!" and cries for my husband. We both work and care for him equally. My husband definitely lets him have more screen time and feeds him more sugary treats. I'm always the one making him sit down to eat vegetables and read books. Am I overthinking this? Is it because I'm the bad cop? Has anyone else's LO gone through this phase?
