Hello just wanted some opinions!

I haven’t heard from my bf since yesterday at 2pm. It’s a fresh relationship. About a month or so. He’s in a doctorate program, and I barely see him during the week. We’ve only spent at most half a day with each other when do spend time together….I’m understanding of that….he has school to focus on…writing 20 plus papers and all that (I’m assuming) I get that his education comes first. But when it comes to sending a text or a phone call I feel like if he wanted to he would…..

No good morning, or good night texts…which I feel is just bare minimum….

I just can’t stop thinking about how I get no response and if I do it’s hours hours later…..I get that’s a busy thing to do, a doctorate program, but this happened more than once before and the last time I saw him I asked how his week was and as he mentioned all the things he did (went shopping, watched football, went out with friends, played video games, study and wrote papers) I couldn’t help but think “you did so much not school related and you couldn’t text me or call me?”

Like I said the relationship is fresh but…I guess I’m feeling a bit let down, and neglected. Or am I being clingy?

Can someone be too busy to text or call at least once a day. Do any of you have a bf/gf/spouse/partner where they can’t find the time to text or call you ever in a day even if they are extremely busy?

What’s justifiable for not being able to text or call because they are extremely busy?

I guess I’m trying to gauge if I’m being too much or if this is something I should express to him?
