Restal thermometer brand you use for your new born?

I have a digital one but I was told that rectal os also good to have on hand. Any advice which brand to get and what lube did you use if you have the rectal thermometer?

I use frida baby rectal thermometer and just a little bit of coconut oil. I clean it off with rubbing alcohol afterwards

I used the one the hospital gave me until I couldn’t use it anymore.. always worked great. The Frida baby and any other brands you find at the pharmacy is pretty good too.

I have a frida baby 3 in 1 thermometer, Friday baby quick read digital thermometer, vicks baby thermometer.. use a little bit of petroleum jelly and wash thermometer with warm/hot water and soap after each use. You don’t need so many thermometer but I keep one in the room, living room, and diaper bag.. I didn’t buy them lol I got them all as gifts...
