Hey ladies, im a ftm and im being induced at 39 weeks due to GD and my baby being big. I was also offered a stretch and sweep at 37 weeks if i want. Im currently 35 weeks. I am on the fence about the sweep. I heard they arent super effective and are painful. Im leaning towards declining the stripping of the membranes. Anyone who has had one before what was it like and how effective was it for you? Its really only a 2 week difference between getting the sweep done and being induced so im not sure if its worth it.
