PGD in UK?!?

Hi guys, anyone else going down the PGD route in the U.K at all??
Me & my partner have been referred and awaiting our first genetics appointment at Guys Hospital in London - not quite sure how long it takes nd what to expect etc.
Anyone rocking the same boat as us?!? 🙂

Hello! I know your post was a while ago but I was hoping you might be able to give an update on where abouts you are in the process and how long it has taken so far (wait times ect!)
Myself and my partner have been reffered for pgd at guys and have our first genetic appointment in September. I've heard the process could be around 12 to 18 months! It's such a long time process 😩

I did it but with a specialist on Harley steeet. The best thing I could have ever done. It’s not really done in the uk. We did one round of ivf got 7 embryos to day 5/6 snd did testing and 3 were abnormal and four were good. Saved us a lot of potential heartache with embryos that just would haven’t worked. I’m currently 14 weeks now and 2 in the freezer for another baby. I wish you all the success, pgd will give you a lot of peace of mind
