I desperately wanted to name my boy River for the first 6 months of the pregnancy but kept getting told it was a girls name 🙄
We went with Renley….which people also confuse for a girl🙄

I think River originally leaned mostly toward the boys, but in recent years it has become popular for girls, so it's unisex.
I personally like it better for a boy.
