Soooo day 2 of my cycle (currently have my period) and have only just started using bbt. Yesterday morning my temperature read 36.83 Celsius and this morning was 36.94 celsius. Is it normal to rise during your period?
BBT only confirm ovulation, but it lets you also know dpo, your luteal phase length ( from day after ovulation to period) should average 12-14 days give or take 1-2 days and when your period is coming by temp drop or if you miss your period and your temp stays up there is a chance for pregnancy
Yw! You will get it, takes some time the only indication that it’s close is lowered temps maybe a drop in temp. But it’s more about the rise in temp after ovulation to confirm. I would start taking the opks around cd9 and go from there.

Ok sure thanks for that, I’m learning as I go lol. So BBT won’t indicate leading up to ovulation and will only confirm once I have ovulated? Should I then use an OPK maybe day 10 to see where it’s upto?

Individual temps don’t matter. It’s usually low temps before ovulation and higher after.
