Nothing. I’ve given birth multiple times, have 5 children. 0$. Each and every time. Our state expanded Medicare, so even middle class can get free maternity care. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Before insurance bill was around 25k. After insurance about 2,500. I had a regular, vaginal delivery and was there for 2 days.

Last year it was only my deductible of 3k.  This year, my son went to the nicu so he started his own deductible—3k for mine and 3k for his.  I bet we put about 15k/year into our HSA so it’s no big deal.  My husband always says I think it’s free money, which I don’t🤪😅
