Donor or not?

Hope you can help me as I'm trying to decide on my next course of action. 
I'm 41. Trying to conceive naturally since I was 37 hasn't worked aside from one pregnancy that ended at 6weeks.
My latest scan showed a follicle count of 6 on the left and 4 on the right. 
Amh levels 3.5p/mol (UK). 
We are verging on using donor eggs on the advice of a doctor saying our own eggs would give us only a 5% chance. 
 Should I consider IVF with my own eggs based on the above? Or am I wasting a lot of money and go straight to donor??

We were told something similar and decided to use a donor egg. The way I look at it, the baby may not have my genes (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing), but it’s my blood and my body so it’s still a part of me.  My husband says we baked the cake, we just had to borrow one ingredient 😂.. It’s a little weird… kinda like a cross between online shopping and tinder 😂.  We found the perfect donor though and our very first transfer took:  I’m 13+3 now.  It’s a process and it’s expensive, but at then end of the day, it was the right choice for us.  It can take a while (it was 10 months from our first consult to our actual transfer and They do require you to have a session with a therapist but it’s quick and actually really helpful. Depends how much money you have and how important biology is to you. If you can afford IVF with your own eggs plus a donor cycle, try your own first and go to donor if it doesn’t work. If finances are tight, go to donor- your chances will be mich better. Unless: biology means so much to you, you couldn’t live with yourself moving to donor eggs. Then just try your own. In any case, good luck!

I’d like to offer another option which is, if possible, get an opinion from another doctor before moving forward. It’s a tough call and getting more professional input wouldn’t hurt, especially since practices & protocols can vary a lot from one reproductive endocrinologist to another. In my experience, REs don’t generally give a % chance of success, as it’s hard to know for sure how any given patient will respond to fertility treatments.
