Baby in crib?

How to get a baby (3 month old) used to their crib in their own room? What did you guys do?

Nap to practice, sound machine, making sure the bed is warm if you live somewhere chilly (like placing a heating pad down and removing it before laying baby in), and putting them down while they’re awake so they don’t get scared waking up in a new space. Patience! Youll get there soon, maybe just a couple tiring nights

I’m not there yet, but my plan is to start by having them take their naps in it and just simply put them in it at night time. But I feel like naps are a great starting place for adjusting them.

My son didn’t tolerate naps at all but he did well for bedtime. We just put him in there pretty much asleep and he did great. A little after he turned 1, we did sleep training to get him to fall asleep on his own.
