How soon were you mamas able to have a alcoholic drink after having baby? (Not breastfeeding)

If I wasn't breastfeeding I would expect hubby to be holding a champagne flute the second I pushed baby out 😂

The minute I got home I had a beer. I even asked the person giving us our hospital tour if I could bring alcohol into the hospital so I could celebrate after pushing my son out 😂

I had a long awaited and well deserved Long Island Iced Tea upon getting home after my 1st and was breastfeeding. My 4th is not quite 2 weeks old right now but I'm on a carnivore diet for 30 days to heal and reset after a hard pregnancy so I'll wait to have a little in my homemade egg nog at Christmas.

I had some egg nog and brandy a few days ago at 4 weeks pp. I had plans to have a drink as soon as I got home from the hospital but I just wasn’t in the mood.

You can have alcohol while breastfeeding. After my first I was too sick to have any for a while. After my second I had a glass of wine the first night home after the hospital
