Trapped gas and constipation for one month now

I have been dealing with bad gas pains and constipation for the last month. I have had pain in my lower right abdomen, so my doctor ordered an ultrasound which I had done today. I did not get my results yet but the tech said I had tons of gas to the point where it was making it very difficult for her to get images of my organs.

I have increased my fibre, I drink a ton of water and eat healthy. I really don’t know why it won’t go away. It’s super painful some days too. Has anyone else dealt with this? I was also referred to a gastroenterologist but during the phone consultation she said it would be a 9 month wait for a colonoscopy. I don’t know how to get relief in the meantime! 😫
