Omg I can’t believe I did this! 😩 I’m so scared

So Iv really been struggling with anxiety/depression lately and had a very emotional few days in therapy and actually has to ask her to have another session the next day. But anyways I’m also on my period and I use tampons. Well I was having some pain down there but I remember I cut myself shaving so I thought it was that but I took my tampon out this morning bc I am ending my period so no longer need one and I looked down there to see why I was having pain and I HAD ANOTHER TAMPON IN! I am so horrified I didn’t even realize. I don’t know how long it was in there. Two maybe even three days! I am so horrified. I work 7am-7pm today and tomorrow so can’t get to a doctor until at least Friday if they are even open 🤦🏽‍♀️ please someone tell me have they done this before?! Do you think I will be okay? Should I call off work tomorrow and go somewhere?
