Laboring home?

Question

Whats your thoughts of laboring at home or birthing at home with or without a midwife? I’m doing a free birth do to covid! Due Christmas day!

I have just gotten the ball rolling for a home inspection for a home birth, due 24th! Thinking behind it is that if everything is going well at home and the weather is horrendous it may prolong things having to get in the car and travel 40+ minutes to the hospital! It’s only a backup plan for me x

This is my fourth baby and 3rd home birth. I love the home-birth much better especially for the recovery period. My recover was so much faster with a homebirth and my mood was much better too. I’m not high risk and everything usually goes fast and smooth for me. I’m also only 10 minutes away from the hospital should I need to go. I recommend them (:
