So I ovulated late this month my period is due in 3 days its only been 5DPO so when should I test?

Answer

Periods are based off ovulation. So if you ovulated later in your cycle then period would also be later. Periods are due roughly 14 days after ovulation. So if you are only 5 DPO period would not be due in 3 days (unless you have a luteal phase defect) The later you ovulate the later your cycle will be. You can test as early as 8 DPO but may not receive a positive test till 14+ DPO.

How long is your luteal phase usually? If it's 14 days, then your period isn't due for another 9 days and you should wait at least that long.
