Spelling?

My daughter is called Hollie. She's 2 in January and a lot of people have said I should have spelt it was a Y instead. 
Just curious what other people think.

I prefer the “y” at the end, but the “ie” doesn’t bother me because it doesn’t change the pronunciation of the name.

How rude to tell someone you don’t like the name they chose for their kid like what?! It’s one thing if you’re trying to choose one in the beginning and ask someone’s opinion but once that’s their name, that’s their name.

This is one of those names where an alternate spelling doesn’t make you wonder how to pronounce it. It’s fine the way it is.
We used Payton for my daughter instead of Peyton because the spelling looked better with the rest of her name. Some people automatically spell it Peyton and I totally get that, it’s way more common. I just correct it am move on. If they give me crap for it…bye✌️😁

I prefer it with the “ie” I think it makes the name pretty. I clicked “holly” because I didn’t read it before I voted thought you wanted the proper spelling 🤦🏻‍♀️
