Period problems

So I’ve been in the rod for 4 years now, I had it for three then got it swapped over at the end of January this year and have had it since. The last 3 years I never got my period but ever since I swapped I’ve gotten it multiple times it’s been out of since but it only happened once a month but in October I skipped my period and now this month I’ve had it once for 10 days and now again got for only four as I’m pretty sure it finished today. Is this normal? Or has anyone else had a similar experience?
