First ob appointment experience

So yesterday i went to my first ob appointment with the same doctor ive seen with my last 4 kids! He got everything ready for a vaginal ultrasound and once he had it in their he said their was no baby i was shocked because thats all he said and took it out and said i had to go to a radiology center to get a better ultrasound and he left the room🥺 2 weeks ago i had already seen the baby and heartbeat at this pregnancy center so i was shocked didn’t know what to think or feel. So decided to go to the hospital and get an ultrasound their and they did an abdominal ultrasound and saw baby and heartbeat 💓

I had a rough day yesterday mixed emotions im still like 😳 has this happened to anyone? Im supposed to be 9 weeks but baby is measuring 8 weeks 4 days! I just can’t believe how he didn’t see anything and he even showed me and at the hospital they did!
