Think I'm out

Well, according to last menstrual date I should be about 8 weeks. At 6 weeks I went in and there was only a yolk sac. Just got back from follow up scan and they found a fetal pole only measuring 5w6d and no heartbeat. I go back next week for one last scan with hopes of a heartbeat. Doctor isn't too optimistic and neither am I. We'll try again if this doesn't go well. I am already thankful to have the most beautiful baby boy at home. At least now he's not at risk of having to share his birthday with a sibling.
