Am I spoiling my 7 month old?

My 7 1/2 month old has been “clingy” lately. I am pregnant and there’s been tension between my SO and I so there is a lot going on. He is also teething and got shots a few days ago. Lately he wants to be cuddled 98% of the time by me and ONLY me. He cries if my SO tries to even just play with him. Other people try to hold him and he cries until I come back then he immediately lays down and relaxes. I’ve tried giving him my shirt that I wore all day, using blankets and laying him on them, it doesn’t work. “Crying it out” does nothing for him because he will just scream bloody murder. I try to let him lay with me until he falls asleep and it sometimes works but most times he wakes up and cries for me all over again.
