I just recently had to close out my bank account due to fraud. We had the child tax credits set up to this account, and when I go to the IRS website it says we can’t update information now. How will I get my December payment? Does anyone know?

There’s an update portal. Since your bank account is closed, the portal should allow you to change your banking info. If that’s what you’ve already tried, I apologize. If that’s the case, when you do your taxes this coming Spring, they will ask you about the tax credits you received and you can explain you didn’t receive certain months’ and they will credit your account along with your tax return 💗
