Am I wrong for getting upset at the nurse?

I made an appointment a month ago for my ultrasound and I asked if my son could come because we couldn’t afford a nanny or would we have anyone to watch him. So the nurse had to ask someone else which they confirmed that he was allowed to come just to this one appointment so he would have to be in his stroller the whole time.

Today they call to confirm my appointment and I wanted to confirm that he would be able to come as well but the nurse said no that no kids was allowed to appointments for a while and that was their policy for months. BUT I made the appointment only 3 weeks ago. Yet that other nurse that I talk to said it was OK for him to come. I asked the nurse today to go back into her records to see who made the appointment and if I could get her number because of how she told me that I was allowed to bring my son to the appointment. She said they don’t have records of that but when a patient calls you or You talk to them in person you always have to write down everything that you talked about.

So I got a bit upset because of the miss information that they told me and how the nurse was giving me attitude, so now I have to go and look for nanny to watch my son..
