This will be our second cycle TTC. I came off the pill late september. My first cycle was 44 days (all negative pregnancy tests, assumed just out of whack bc of coming off the pill). We’re now in cycle two, cycle day 29 and i’ve had cramps for a week straight. Even before being on the pill, i didnt have PMS symptoms til the day of or the day before. So to have cramps and vaginal pain for an entire WEEK with no period is very strange. I havent tracked temperature or ovulation this go around, but i will say i havent seen EWCM. Frequently watery, but not egg white. Doesnt necessarily mean it wasnt there, I’ve just had a lot going on and havent consistently checked. Period is due sometime this weekend, but I’m just not sure when would be appropriate to test. I’ll probably buy some cheapie tests on sunday if my period doesnt show by then. I’m just frustrated about not knowing. My alternating work schedule + insomnia makes me think temp tracking wouldnt be super helpful, and my husband is reluctant to spend a bunch of money on ovulation tests. He and his ex got pregnant the first cycle she came off the pill, so i guess i’m just frustrated and disappointed that that wasnt the case for me 😣 obviously since i didnt confirm, theres no telling that its accurate, but predicted ovulation was Nov 27 (six days before the cramping started), which would make me 12 dpo today. If my period doesnt show by sunday (which would be predicted at 15 dpo), would be that be an okay time to test ? We’re very frugal and dont want to buy tests unnecessarily, and he doesnt trust generic/cheapie tests, so i dont want to be spending a bunch of money on expensive tests if it’d be best for me to just wait 😣
